Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Specialist to join our team at AMP. As a key member of our Technology & Operations Group, you will be responsible for delivering business partnering and insights for costs.

About the Role

  • Ensure cost management oversight and alignment of information and reporting within IT & Operations.
  • Build the economic model to capture the true cost of IT.
  • Act as a virtual team member for the Technology & Operations Leadership Team, providing timely and accurate finance insights.
  • Ensure that Finance services are delivered to Technology & Operations and their leaders in an efficient and effective way.
  • Work closely with the wider finance team to develop the key cost management outputs relevant to guide the decision making.
  • Provide input into the planning and forecasting for cost driving Key Performance Indicators.
  • Develop a culture of continuous improvement and strong expense discipline to optimise the use of financial resources.

About You

  • Minimum 5 years post qualification accounting experience in a large financial services cost or management accounting.
  • Experience working in Information Technology environment will be an advantage.
  • Good understanding of IT services.
  • Excellent analytical and numeric skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • CPA/CA (or equivalent) qualified.
