Job Description

This is a senior leadership role where you will shape the strategic agenda of an organisation by leading policy, advocacy, research and program evaluation at scale. As a visionary leader, you will guide the development of effective and efficient strategies to drive organisational change and make a meaningful impact.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement evidence-based policy and advocacy strategies to influence government ministers, sector partners and other stakeholders nationally.
  • Lead the design and delivery of high-quality programs that achieve measurable outcomes for children and families facing disadvantage.
  • Represent the organisation with key stakeholders, including government ministers, sector partners and philanthropists, to secure funding and support for organisational goals.

Requirements

A highly experienced leader with deep expertise in shaping public policy, social impact strategy, service design and program delivery within complex environments. Strong understanding of Australia's social, educational, political and economic landscape, with exceptional strategic thinking, policy acumen and the ability to translate evidence into meaningful impact.

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as law, social sciences, public policy, political science, economics or business administration.
  • Postgraduate qualifications highly regarded, particularly in areas such as policy analysis, program evaluation or social impact assessment.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, policy acumen and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver organisational objectives.
