We are seeking a Financial Systems Consultant to enhance our team of dedicated professionals, including actuaries, product owners, financial analysts, and software developers. The Financial Systems Consultant will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), working closely with stakeholders to develop a strategic plan for meeting business goals and collaborating with colleagues to execute these strategies utilizing our financial modeling tools.

Position Summary

  • Work alongside local and global colleagues as well as internal and external stakeholders to translate requirements into User Stories
  • Perform research and improve actuarial and financial models, integrating advanced mathematical techniques and AI solutions
  • Engage in the complete software development lifecycle - from design through deployment in an SME role
  • Participate in Agile/scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) to boost team efficiency, workflows, and engineering methodologies
  • Create reports and documentation pertaining to actuarial and financial models and software capabilities
  • Offer technical, product, and modeling assistance to both internal and external clients
  • Support scrum masters and project managers as necessary
