The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced legal professional to join our team as a Compliance and Privacy Specialist in the Energy and Resources sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on Privacy Act, Privacy Principles, Consumer Data Rights, and Concessions from a compliance perspective.
  • Develop and implement effective compliance strategies to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with the ACCC on CRD matters and engage with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and provide recommendations on complex compliance issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and ensure the team is informed and compliant.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in compliance and privacy law.
  • Strong knowledge of Privacy Act, Privacy Principles, and Consumer Data Rights.
  • Experience in drafting reports of potential breaches to the OAIC.
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical experience.
