About Our Nursery:

Tops Devonport Nursery is a 53-place Day Nursery & Pre-School situated in Plymouth. The nursery runs several extra-curricular activities, including Cooking school, Boogie Mites, Yoga, Meditation, and more.

Your Role:

Your key responsibilities as a Deputy Manager/Trainee Manager include:

  • Collaborating in the successful execution of daily, weekly, and monthly room checks and associated action plans
  • Active monitoring and appropriate handling of accident trends
  • Inspiring and managing your team, providing tailored motivation and training aligned with unit needs
  • Efficient resource management, routine organization, and seamless communication with senior management
  • Expertise in creating settling in profiles, short-term, medium-term, and long-term plans, next steps, and learning journey
  • Unwavering commitment to the safeguarding of all children in the nursery

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification. Additionally, all candidates must have an enhanced DBS on the update service. Offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks, as this role involves regulated activity with children.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this position is up to £13.25 per hour, based on industry standards and location.
