Chief Technology and Operations Officer

A senior executive with a strong track record of driving technology strategy and operational excellence is sought to join the leadership team of a leading organisation in the financial services sector. This high-impact role will drive digital transformation, data governance, and regulatory compliance across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex technology and operations projects.
  • Oversee regulatory reporting and compliance with APRA standards (FAR, CPS 230, CPS 234).
  • Manage IT strategy, cybersecurity, and change management initiatives.
  • Chair and contribute to executive and board-level committees.
  • Supervise service provider performance and outsourced operations.
  • Lead business continuity planning, project delivery, and data engineering practices.
About You:
  • 15+ years of leadership experience in technology and operations within financial services (insurance, banking, capital markets).
  • Strong understanding of APRA regulatory frameworks.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science; Master's or MBA preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects.
