Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you'll provide operational leadership and support to our General Managers. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing and providing direction to ensure compliance, optimising resident outcomes, and operational efficiency. You'll also play a key role in mentoring our General Managers and setting them up for success.

The core focus of this role will be to:

• Provide strong leadership and coaching to the GMs to ensure quality resident services, achievement of financial objectives, and implementation of operational plans.
• Ensure compliance with Aged Care legislation.
• Establish a continuous improvement mindset to ensure current systems are achieving compliance, consistency, and sustainability.
• Provide guidance and direction to GMs to develop marketing strategies and relationships with external providers, hospitals, and placement agencies to maintain Home occupancy.
• Prepare budgetary forecast for Home financial performance.
• Exemplify strong leadership and provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to promote development of team members.
• Assume a leadership role in workforce planning at all Homes, including recruitment, leave management, succession planning, rostering, and performance management.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Relevant tertiary qualification/s in management or business (essential)
• Sound experience working in a senior capacity in aged or health care
• Demonstrated experience in operational management, including human resources, people leadership & motivation, budgeting, service delivery
• Strong troubleshooting & multitasking skills
• Broad understanding of the legislation affecting aged care
• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and motivation for staff involved in the provision of services to aged care residents
• Commercial acumen
• Demonstrated ability to empower staff to accept responsibility through effective guidance and support
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and remain highly motivated
• Excellent verbal and written communication style - able to communicate effectively at all levels
• Excellent computer skills and organisational software products
• High organisational skills and ability to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Solution-focused - excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
