About the Role

Develop and lead a people strategy that reflects Gospel values, good governance and statutory compliances across the diocese. This role supports staff wellbeing and enables excellence in Catholic education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and leading a diocesan wide people strategy.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory and industrial requirements.
  • Protecting children and vulnerable adults at all times.
  • Committing to the mission of Catholic education.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualifications in Law, Industrial Relations, Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • Advanced knowledge and practical application of industrial relations, employment law, governance frameworks and organisational development.
  • Senior leadership experience in HR, employment relations, governance or Professional Standards functions, ideally within education or faith-based organisations.
  • A strong demonstrated commitment to the objectives, vision and ethos of Catholic Education.
  • Ability to travel across the diocese, including remote and regional locations.
