Workplace Learning and Development Assistant Manager

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead learning and development initiatives, focusing on internal training and collaboration with external stakeholders. You will work closely with the Director of People & Culture to manage and deliver resort-wide training, as well as create a new employee orientation program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Learning and Development Strategy for Ayers Rock Resort.
  • Create and deliver training solutions that meet industry standards and employee needs.
  • Plan and coordinate the monthly training calendar in conjunction with the General Manager of People & Culture.
  • Manage and deliver the ARR Orientation program.
  • Coordinate tasks for the monthly training calendar, including distribution, room bookings, and catering.
  • Oversee the VLearn (LMS) platform and manage external training providers.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Prior experience in learning and development, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with budgeting experience.
  • Able to create and deliver training programs and manage internal and external providers.
  • Experience with internal training and collaboration with external stakeholders.
