Overview

Workplace Learning & Development Assistant Manager at Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia. Live and work onsite at Ayers Rock Resort, Yulara, NT (20 minutes from Uluru).

Join Ayers Rock Resort to lead learning and development initiatives, with a focus on internal training and collaboration with external stakeholders. This role works with the Director of People & Culture to manage and deliver resort-wide training, and to create a new employee orientation program with tasks carried out both internally and with external providers.

Key Duties
  • Refine and implement a Learning and Development Strategy at Ayers Rock Resort (ARR) including ongoing training needs assessment
  • Develop, deliver and/or organise training solutions to meet industry standards and employee needs
  • Plan the monthly training calendar with the General Manager of People & Culture
  • Manage and deliver the ARR Orientation program
  • Coordinate tasks for the monthly training calendar (distribution, room bookings, catering)
  • Manage and maintain the VLearn (LMS) platform
  • Manage external training providers

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience in learning and development, with a background in the hospitality industry
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
