We are seeking an accomplished professional in Speech Pathology to take on the role of Academic Instructor. This position is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and has a strong commitment to fostering exceptional learning experiences for students.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging educational content, developing and assessing student skills, and contributing to course improvement. They will also be expected to engage with the wider academic community and promote the discipline through participation in university events and external activities.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality educational content that meets the needs of students;
- Develop and assess student skills through clinical exams and written assessments;
- Contribute to course review processes and discussions on curriculum and pedagogy enhancements;
- Engage with the wider academic community through participation in university events and external activities.
- Hold a Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Speech Pathology;
- Experience in teaching, tutoring, and developing educational materials and assessments;
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively;
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders;
- Sound understanding of current trends and issues in speech pathology education.
