Salary: Academic A - $85,555 - $116,094 p.a. (pro-rata) or Academic B - $122,212 - $145,121 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% super
Responsibilities- Deliver Engaging Education: Conduct tutorials, practical classes, and workshops, while assisting with lecture content across the curriculum.
- Develop and Assess Student Skills: Assist in the development, supervision, and assessment of clinical exams and written assessments.
- Contribute to Course Improvement: Participate in course review processes and discussions on curriculum and pedagogy enhancements.
- Engage with the Wider Community: Promote the discipline through participation in university events and external activities.
You are a qualified speech pathologist with a passion for education, bringing experience in teaching and a commitment to fostering exceptional learning experiences for students in a collaborative academic environment.
Qualifications- Hold a Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Speech Pathology, with eligibility for Speech Pathology Australia membership.
- Experience in teaching, tutoring, and developing educational materials and assessments.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Sound understanding of current trends and issues in speech pathology education.
