Incident Response Specialist Job Summary
The role requires a broad range of technical and industry skills to tackle complex security challenges at accelerated scales.
Main Responsibilities:
- Owning and managing in-flight security issues, triaging and assessing security incidents, and engaging with internal teams for prompt mitigation and remediation.
- Communicating the state of these issues to stakeholders.
- Driving incident response and quality assurance, proposing solutions that achieve outcomes while maintaining risk levels.
- Maintaining operational excellence in incident response and global operational efficiency.
- Promoting security throughout the organization, building relationships within the team and with service partners.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated proficiency in security operations, incident response, and emergent security intelligence.
- Experience with AWS products and services.
- At least 3 years operating in an enterprise incident response or security operations team.
Deliverables:
- Effective communication of security issues.
- Proactive resolution of security incidents.
- Strategic planning for incident response.
