Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking an Early Childhood Worker to join our team at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress Aboriginal Corporation. As an Early Childhood Worker, you will be responsible for delivering culturally appropriate quality early childhood education, health and development programs to children using children's first language based on the Abecedarian Approach Australia (3a).
The position focuses on the implementation of a culturally rich environment that includes the use of Aboriginal languages of children in the centre, games, activities and songs. The program is based on the Early Years Learning Framework and the Abecedarian Approach Australia (3a).
As an Early Childhood Worker, you will contribute to a learning environment that strengthens educator practice and continuous improvement to optimise children's learning outcomes. You will also contribute to child records that document personal and social growth, development, cultural context, learning and interests of the child.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about early childhood education and has a strong commitment to working with Aboriginal children and families. The successful candidate will have a current First Aid Certificate, a current NT Working with Children's Card, and a NT Drivers' licence or ability to obtain one.
