Early Childhood Educator

The Central Australian Aboriginal Congress Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the Ampe Kenhe Apmere Congress Childcare in Alice Springs, NT.
As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education, nutrition, and care to children aged 0-5 years. Our Centre uses a bi-cultural adaptation of the Abecedarian Approach Australia (3a), which focuses on providing a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of our young learners.
We are looking for an experienced educator who is passionate about caring for children and willing to engage in further education. If you have a qualification in Children's Services or equivalent, and a demonstrated experience caring for children aged 0-5 years, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging and inclusive educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of our children.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the Centre Manager and other educators to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and education.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of our children and staff.
Requirements:
- Qualification in Children's Services or equivalent as recognized by ACECQA or the willingness to commence.
- Demonstrated experience caring for children aged 0-5 years.
- Ability to interpret and apply information about how children learn and develop in practical ways.
- Ability to interpret and apply information provided about a diverse range of positive teaching strategies that meet the individual learning styles of the different children.
