Financial Accountant Job Description">

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for leading and executing month-end and year-end closing processes, coordinating audits, preparing budgets and forecasts, and maintaining fixed asset registers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute month end and year end closing processes, including accruals, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Coordinate and support quarterly and annual audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare BAS & PAYG statements, analyzing payroll expenses, reconciliations, and journals.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, including budgets and forecasts, to support business decision-making.
  • Maintain a fixed asset register, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Drive process improvements and support systems initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Supervise and coach junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar Senior Financial Accountant role, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and financial modeling skills, with proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
