Job Title: Financial Planning Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning Specialist to join our team on a 3-month contract, with the potential for extension.

This role is responsible for providing high-quality financial planning and analysis support to operational leaders. You will work closely with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and drive business performance through budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.

  • Budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes across business units.
  • Variance analysis and identification of key drivers of business performance.
  • Development and maintenance of interactive dashboards and business intelligence reports.
  • Presentation of financial and operational insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Support for month-end/year-end close processes and contribution to contract optimisation projects.
  • Identification and implementation of improvements across reporting systems and financial processes.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a medium to large organisation.
  • Strong financial modelling and business partnering skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred).
  • Confident communication and presentation skills with strong stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Python is highly desirable.
  • Bonus points for experience in the service industries.
