Claims Management Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Management Lead to join our team in Melbourne. As part of this role, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of Case Managers who manage workers compensation claims.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a team leadership role within the Victorian Workers Compensation scheme and demonstrated expertise in the management of return-to-work (RTW) claims. They will also possess strong leadership skills, including team building, coaching, performance management and change management.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Group Manager to develop and implement a proactive approach to the management of workers compensation claims. They will also provide technical guidance to internal and external stakeholders on the strategic management of workers compensation insurance claims.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Experience in a team leadership role within the Victorian Workers Compensation scheme
- Demonstrated expertise in the management of RTW claims
- Strong understanding of contractual requirements and performance measures for Victorian Worksafe Agents
- Leadership skills, including team building, coaching, performance management and change management
- Experience managing and developing teams within a personal injury environment
