About the Role:
Our organization is seeking a seasoned and skilled Team Manager to oversee claims processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established guidelines and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide a team of claims analysts.
- Monitor and improve claims workflow efficiency, adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Analyze team performance metrics to identify areas for enhancement and implement targeted strategies to boost productivity.
- Act as the primary point of contact for complex claims issues, resolving customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Develop and deliver coaching, training, and professional development opportunities to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in claims management.
- 2+ years of experience in motor vehicle or property insurance.
- Strong understanding of claims procedures and industry regulations.
- Familiarity with insurance industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Candidates must be based in Melbourne.
