Data Analyst for Geological Exploration

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in the capacity of Database Geologist. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting large datasets to support project discovery and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain databases using Micromine and other relevant software
  • Produce high-quality reports and technical figures to support project decisions
  • Collaborate with senior geologists and other experts to identify new opportunities and optimize project outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to complex problems

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Micromine and either QGIS or MapInfo, or fluency in MX Deposit and DataShed
  • Ability to produce high-quality reports and technical figures
  • Availability to work at least 32 hours per week
  • Rights to work in Australia without restrictions

The ideal candidate will be part of a talented, motivated and respectful team that values collaboration, innovation and excellence. The office is located in Brisbane, Australia, and you can expect to spend up to 3 weeks per year working on site in various locations around the world.
