Job Overview
The Health Safety and Wellbeing Projects Specialist plays a pivotal role in developing a comprehensive health safety management system across a national healthcare network.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects by coordinating resources, maintaining documentation, monitoring project plans, and ensuring timely on-budget delivery aligned with methodology
- Support governance and execution through research reporting financial tracking development of risk-based tools regulatory review and strategic advice to the health safety team and National Program Manager
- Develop and monitor the health safety management system to ensure legal and regulatory compliance including drafting procedures guidelines and forms
- Contribute to health and safety plans aligned with the health safety management system and health safety strategy
- Maintain the organisational health safety risk register upload risk assessments and support sites with forms templates and risk management processes
- Participate in audits and the health safety assurance program including site inspections and action plan development
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure systems and initiatives meet business needs
- Analyse health safety data and support the preparation of regular reports for leadership
