Senior Health and Safety Professional

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Professional to lead our team. Reporting to the Program Director, this is a senior leadership role with overall responsibility for health and safety across the organization.
The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of the Program Safety Management Plan, oversee project and subcontractor safety plans, drive audits, investigations and reporting and foster a culture of continuous improvement across all sites.
This role is highly collaborative, engaging closely with stakeholders, contractors, suppliers and clients – central to embedding safety as a core value in our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extensive experience in a senior health and safety leadership role, ideally within infrastructure, construction or utilities.
- A track record of leading and mentoring safety teams, with strong communication and stakeholder skills.
- Proven ability to review, implement and monitor safety management systems and plans.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with a focus on lead indicators and proactive action.
- A collaborative and improvement-focused approach to building safety culture.
