Learner Engagement Officer

Pathway Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learner Engagement Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in enhancing and facilitating the engagement, retention, and success of learners within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Attract candidates to our learning opportunities and evaluate their suitability for our programmes.
- Drive the conversion of prospective learners onto programmes.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to support the career development of learners.
- Offer high-quality information, advice, and guidance.
- Form and harness key relationships in the region with organizations that can contribute to the referral of candidates to our programmes and the opportunities we have for them.
- Ensure quality and accuracy in the completion of required documentation, processes, and systems.
- Deliver Applicant Days and conduct an initial assessment of applicants.
- Match and fill candidates to employment opportunities.
- Maintain regular communication with learners through various channels to keep them informed and engaged.
- Ensure high-quality candidates are placed quickly, always supporting both the candidates and employers.
- Attend networking events, both online and in-person, as needed.
- Knowledge of funding streams for WMCA, Bootcamps, and Advanced Learner Loans.
- Ability to network and build new connections.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate concerns and complex issues in a diplomatic manner.
- Proven ability to analyze complex problems and develop and successfully implement practical and workable solutions.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new learners.
- Ability to deal with changing priorities, work under pressure, work to tight deadlines, and be flexible.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff at all levels across the Company and with external stakeholders and committed to teamwork.
- Good standard of numeracy.
- Experience in working with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
