Electrical Plant Specialist

Job Overview
The Support Technician plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of gas turbine generating plants. Key responsibilities include delivering minor projects across facilities, implementing policies and procedures, and supervising contracts with external service providers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Implementing ENGIE Australia policies and procedures.
- Assisting in the maintenance of gas turbine generators and associated equipment.
- Supervising/ managing contracts and external service providers.
- Preparing, reviewing and revising site routines and maintenance schedules for all electrical plants.
About You
To excel in this role, you will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and fault-finding skills, focusing on safety and quality. You must possess effective communication skills and collaborate well with others to meet shared objectives.
Requirements
- Post-secondary qualifications in a technical, trade or engineering field.
- Power plant or process-related experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
