Support individuals with disabilities to live independent and fulfilling lives as a Casual Support Worker.

About the Role

This flexible role provides backup coverage for shifts when required, allowing you to make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.

You'll assist individuals with domestic and personal care, transportation assistance, medication management, and daily routines. You'll also help participants build on their strengths and reach their personal goals, promoting social inclusion and goal achievement.

Some of your day-to-day tasks may include:

  • Providing support with daily living activities such as grooming, dressing, and meal preparation
  • Assisting with transportation to help participants engage in the community
  • Helping participants manage their medications and maintain their health and wellbeing
  • Promoting community participation and involvement in group centre activities

**Required Skills & Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Current Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current Victorian Driver's License and own a car with Registration and Insurance
  • Current First Aid and CPR training
  • Completion of the NDIS Orientation Module
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (preferred)
