Assistant Property Manager Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and organized individual to join our Real Estate Management Services team in Newcastle. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily tenant matters, implementing lease administration procedures, and controlling the collection and reconciliation of monies.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the commercial/retail/industrial sector, a Tertiary qualification in Property (preferably), and strong organisational skills. They will also require excellent written and oral communication skills and intermediate level Microsoft Office skills.

  • Manage day-to-day tenant interactions and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and perform reconciliations as required.
  • Liaise with colleagues to coordinate operating budgets and prepare reports.
  • Facilitate the processing of invoices and manage debtors effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the commercial/retail/industrial sector.
  • Tertiary qualification in Property (preferably).
  • Certificate of registration or willingness to obtain it within 6 months of employment.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
