We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Property/Facilities Coordinator to join our Hunter team

This role is a part time 25 hour per week, 12-month contract with flexibility considered on the days and location the role is carried out.

**The Role - what we're looking for**

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Property & Assets, this varied role will be responsible for supporting day to day maintenance coordination and administration duties within the Property & Fleet portfolio across the Hunter and Mid North Coast regions. The portfolio contains both residential accommodation and commercial office properties.

Key to the success of this position is the development of strong and positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and your strong administration skills.

A snapshot of your duties include:

- ** Coordination of repairs and maintenance** on building and equipment through managing tickets and issuing work orders. This process includes a high volume of administration/data entry
- ** Assist in the management of contractors** and suppliers to ensure they perform to the required standards
- ** Approval of accounts payable invoices** for Northern region
- ** Conduct property inspections** to ensure all building procedures and condition standards are maintained at all times.
- ** Liaising with contracted fleet management** organisation regarding vehicles in the Northern region
- ** Ensuring compliance **with relevant legislation, building codes and an ongoing committed focus to workplace health and safety.
- Responding to ongoing business needs regarding procurement.
- Providing support to the wider Property & Assets and Corporate Services team as required.

**What we are looking for**:
We are seeking someone to bring their positive attitude, strong admin skills and natural spark to this position.
- Prior experience in facilities, property management, or related field preferred.
- Positive energy and ‘can do’ attitude
- Ability to communicate with confidence and respect for others
- Highly organised with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, priorities and business needs that achieves quality results;
- High level of computer literacy in Microsoft programs and ability to accurately maintain data.
- Solutions focused approach with the ability to identify opportunities to add value
- Ability to work collaborative with other functions to achieve goals
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal colleagues and external providers/stakeholders, understanding their needs and being responsive and adaptive as their or our needs change
- Minimum P2 drivers’ licence (Essential)
- Willingness to obtain NDIS worker check clearance (Essential)
- Covid-19 Vaccination + booster
