Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage agreements for Council buildings and land
  • Coordinate maintenance contracts (e.g., cleaning, HVAC, pest control)
  • Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety and legislative requirements for tenanted buildings
  • Maintain registers and support strategic decisions (e.g., acquisitions, disposals)
  • Assist with closures, encroachments, and leases and licenses
  • Contribute to asset planning and capital works programs
About You:
  • Experience in a local government or state government context is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of property legislation and asset practices
  • Skill in negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to maintain databases and documentation
  • Motivated, organised, and able to work independently within a team
