Asset Management Strategist

As a key member of our team, you will lead the development and implementation of strategic asset management plans.

Your focus will be on maintaining a sustainable asset management system, driven by data and financial acumen.

You will manage the asset register with accurate condition, geographic information systems (GIS), and financial data at your fingertips.

In this critical role, you will coordinate annual renewal planning and long-term investment programs to ensure optimal asset performance.

Your expertise will be called upon for asset data collection and condition assessments, as well as providing expert advice and reporting on asset lifecycle management.

To drive continuous improvement, you will identify areas for process enhancements, training needs, and documentation requirements.

A collaborative approach is essential in working with internal stakeholders across various departments.

The ideal candidate will possess:

A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Asset Management, or a related field.

Proven experience in developing comprehensive asset management strategies and managing complex asset systems.

Strong skills in geographic information systems (GIS) and data analysis.

Experience with capitalization, asset valuation, and long-term investment planning.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.

A proactive, flexible, and committed individual who continuously seeks opportunities for growth and improvement.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and experience with Technology One would be advantageous.
