Operations Management Role

This is a key position responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of bus services.

  • Coordinate bus operational activities in line with safety regulations.
  • Schedule operations in accordance with relevant legislation, including HVNL and WHS guidelines.
  • Liaise with workshop personnel to coordinate maintenance requirements.
  • Manage fleet allocation to meet client expectations.
  • Ensure sufficient fleet availability at operational depots to meet service demands.
  • Provide effective cover for unexpected needs due to instances such as vehicle breakdowns or staffing changes.
Requirements:
  • Able to work flexible hours.
  • Previous experience in scheduling and/or operations management in a complex environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to multitask, and manage complexity.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills, able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good understanding of Heavy Vehicle National Law and Regulations (NHVR).
  • Able to communicate effectively, take initiative, and demonstrate flexibility.
  • Attention to detail and resilience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
