Project Director Opportunity

The Project Director will be responsible for leading a high-performing team and developing programs that align with our organization's values and policies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee program operations across multiple locations, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and service standards.
  • Manage budgets and financial performance, authorising expenditure and contributing to financial planning and reporting.
  • Foster effective stakeholder relationships, representing the organization at meetings with funders, partners, and community leaders.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting and feedback to senior management, addressing risks, opportunities, and service escalations.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, supervision, performance management, and development of staff and volunteers.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to strategic planning to enhance program outcomes and sustainability.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and substantial experience leading teams in complex environments.
  • Proven ability to manage programs to budget, meet key performance indicators, and ensure compliance with organisational requirements.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with a values-based approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective stakeholder relationships and represent the organization with professionalism.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with competing priorities and 24/7 service requirements.
  • High-level communication, time management, and problem-solving skills, including experience handling escalations and crisis-driven scenarios.
