We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Energy and Power Risk Management Specialist to join our team at AU002 Marsh Pty Ltd_AU. As a Principal - Energy and Power, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients in the energy and power industry, navigating the transition to a more sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement risk management and insurance programs that address client needs accurately in the energy and power sector.
  • Engage with, coordinate, and project manage the broader Marsh team in delivering results for clients.
  • Cultivate enduring relationships with key client decision makers.
  • Expand and retain a portfolio of high-yield accounts in the energy and power sector.
  • Stay attuned to significant claim matters and assist in negotiating settlements.
  • Review and advise on insurance requirements under key contracts.
  • Demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of relevant regulations and acts in the energy and power sector.
  • Understand how Marsh Mc Lennan can support our clients and deliver the best of our firm to assist them with their insurance and risk needs.
  • Foster meaningful relationships with insurers, clients, and diverse Marsh colleagues.
  • Support the Victorian Energy & Power Leader with financial reporting and team budgets.
  • Mentor and coach junior colleagues.
  • Engage in industry events, conferences, and client functions in the energy and power sector.
Requirements
  • Excellence in Client Service (within the energy and power sector is preferred but not essential).
  • Planning and Organization skills.
  • Initiative & Self-Motivation to achieve results for clients and organizational goals.
  • Communication Skills for effective engagement with stakeholders including senior leadership at clients.
  • Collaborative approach to client servicing and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work effectively to meet client deadlines.
  • Adaptability to Change and familiarity with internal company technology and product capabilities.
