High Voltage Electrician

We are seeking experienced and safety-focused High Voltage Electricians to join our team at various sites across the Bowen Basin. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on heavy mobile equipment such as CAT 777, 793, Liebherr, and Komatsu.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance and repairs to a diverse fleet of equipment
- Mobile Maintenance on Extra Low Voltage, Low Voltage, and High Voltage equipment
- HV (RADIAL) and LV Isolations
- Scheduled planned/breakdown maintenance and carrying out inspections on equipment as required
- Execute work orders to a high standard
- Completing inspections and repairs as per the maintenance strategies
- Scoping and creating notifications for preventative work
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Australian recognised trade qualification (Electrician)
- HV Switching experience is highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience in mine site maintenance of electric haul trucks, dozers, graders, draglines, electric shovels, and auxiliary equipment
- CAT, Letourneau, Liebherr, and Komatsu experience is highly valued
- Previous experience within mining is essential
- The ability to work effectively within a team environment and build strong working relationships
- Experience with work management software tools (e.g., 1SAP)
- A commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail and procedure
