This is a fantastic opportunity to work on civil and infrastructure projects related to water management.
- Conduct rainfall, flow and flood assessments, including modelling, mapping, flood mitigation design, water balance models, dam break assessment and risk assessments.
- Assist in a range of water management related studies and investigations from pre-feasibility through to detailed design.
- Support and assist in developing existing capability in mine water management.
- Assist and/or undertake designs of hydraulic and other water management structures for mine sites.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering long-term stormwater and water quality infrastructure planning strategies, policies & forward works projects. This will involve conducting rainfall, flow and flood assessments, as well as assisting in a range of water management related studies and investigations.
You will also support and assist in developing existing capability in mine water management, and assist and/or undertake designs of hydraulic and other water management structures for mine sites.
Key ResponsibilitiesSome key responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing and delivering long-term stormwater and water quality infrastructure planning strategies, policies & forward works projects.

- Assisting and/or undertaking designs of hydraulic and other water management structures for mine sites.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Civil or Environmental.
- Experience working in a consulting environment on mining projects.
- Experience with flood modelling software (e.g. HEC-RAS, TUFLOW etc) and Goldsim.
- The ability to demonstrate a resourceful approach to work, displaying initiative and decision-making skills.
- Technical writing skills with experience in proposal writing and technical reporting.
