This role is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of professionals in maintaining and optimizing control systems.

About the Job
  • As Control Systems Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical support services for automation and telemetry infrastructure.
  • You will integrate into a multi-disciplined team and work closely with stakeholders to ensure that safety, customer and environmental risks are effectively managed.

The focus of this position is to manage a team of external technicians in maintaining, troubleshooting and modifying control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing project plans and scheduling of associated maintenance tasks to ensure appropriate resource allocation and timings are met.
  • Manage specialist subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure that all works meet client-set response, rectification times and associated KPIs.
  • Oversee quality control processes and work with team QA functions to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead the operational and maintenance design reviews for new Control System assets.
  • Assist and review development and modification of Control Systems software applications (HMI and PLC), plus database management and associated integrations.
Requirements
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with Control Systems and/or related disciplines and how they integrate into an operational environment.
  • Ability to quickly pick-up differing software and hardware programming and configurations.
  • Qualification in Engineering, such as Electrical Engineering Degree or Electrical Trade Certificate-3 or Certificate-4 (highly desired).
