Family Violence Specialist

The Family Violence Specialist role at Anglicare Victoria involves providing in-home family services to families who have experienced or are experiencing family violence. The goal is to strengthen parenting capacity and family resilience, while reducing risks to children's safety and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support to colleagues in the team, including consults and training
- Work with families to empower them to enhance their parenting capacity and family functioning
- Conduct risk and needs assessments using relevant frameworks, theory, and practice models
- Develop and review action plans with families and care teams to improve outcomes
- Engage with vulnerable children, youth, and families, and deliver interventions to improve their outcomes
- A competitive salary starting at around $102,000, negotiable based on experience
- Salary packaging available up to $15,900, plus an entertainment card
- A SCHCADS award level 6
