About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team at The Orange Door Croydon. As an Expert Child Wellbeing Practitioner, you'll work closely with clients to provide advice on risk assessment, engagement, and initial response. Your expertise will help individuals navigate complex situations and find support.

Your Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience working with children and families, particularly those affected by family violence.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Early Childhood Specialist, or related field, or associate diploma level with significant experience.
  • Strong resilience when working with clients who have experienced trauma.
  • The ability to identify, assess, and prioritise risks and needs in a whole-of-family approach.
  • The capacity to recognise your own limits and seek advice or refer clients to specialists when necessary.
