**About the Opportunity**
Our well-known NFP client has several vacancies for Family Violence Practitioners at their offices based in Dandenong, Cranbourne, and Pakenham. These are ongoing full-time and part-time (0.8FTE or 0.9 FTE) contracts working with experienced, supportive, and passionate teams in Melbourne’s Southeastern Suburbs.
If you’re an experienced Case Worker or Practitioner within the Child, Youth and Family sector, we want to hear from you
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Complete initial and ongoing assessments for children and families who are victims of family violence
- Develop Family Action Plans, Safety Plans and make appropriate referrals
- Provide over the phone and outreach support to families in crisis
- Identify, assess, and prioritise risk of clients and respond accordingly
- Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team environment
**Skills and Abilities**
- Bachelor of Social work or equivalent as per the mandatory minimum qualification requirements for specialise family violence practitioners
- MARAM training
- Victorian Driver’s Licence
- Experience as a practitioner in the Child, Youth, and Family services field
- Demonstrated understanding of the gendered nature of family violence and trauma informed support
