Job Details

The role of Site Civil Supervisor is responsible for leading and supervising site personnel, plant, materials, and subcontractors on a daily basis. Key responsibilities include attending site meetings, submitting weekly progress reports to management, assisting with materials procurement and quality documentation, coordinating and managing subcontractors and suppliers in line with site programs, maintaining site records and overseeing onsite OH&S documentation including toolbox meetings.

This includes ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, programs, productions, and budgets are met.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Site Meetings: Attend regular site meetings to discuss ongoing projects, address concerns, and communicate with team members.
  • Progress Reports: Submit weekly progress reports to management highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Materials Procurement: Assist with purchasing and receiving materials in accordance with project requirements.
  • Quality Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality control measures.
  • Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and manage the activities of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Site Records: Oversee the maintenance of comprehensive site records, including inventory management and asset tracking.
  • OH&S Documentation: Ensure all OH&S documentation is accurate and up-to-date, including tool box meetings and risk assessments.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position or willingness to take the next step in your career.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, including the ability to record and report site progress.
  • Experience working on subdivisional works, bulk earthworks, and underground construction projects.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and construction programs.
  • Solid safety focus and experience.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours when required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Current Senior First Aid certification (desired).

This role requires a mid-senior level candidate with full working rights. Unfortunately, there is no provision for sponsorship on this role. Working holiday visas will also not be considered.
