
Public Complaints Specialist

This is a fixed-term opportunity to join our team as a Public Complaints Specialist. As a key member of our unit, you will play a critical role in handling and resolving complaints from the public.
In this position, you will be responsible for receiving and investigating complaints via various digital channels, conducting research, making inquiries, and providing clear and accurate advice to resolve complaints informally if possible.
You will work closely with our team to ensure that all interactions with the public are professional, courteous, and in line with our organization's commitment to high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive and investigate complaints from the public via various digital channels
- Conduct research and make inquiries to resolve complaints informally if possible
- Provide clear and accurate advice to complainants
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure high-quality service delivery
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in complaint handling in a high-volume, resolution-focused environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interpret legislation and develop a deep understanding of relevant policies
- Organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
