Job Description:

The City of Playford is seeking an Independent Member to join the Council Assessment Panel (CAP). This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the city's sustainable growth and development.

About the Role:

The Independent Member will play a crucial role in assessing development applications, ensuring they align with the city's strategic plans and policies. As a member of the CAP, you will work collaboratively with other members to make informed decisions that balance the needs of various stakeholders.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have a keen interest in urban planning, a reasonable knowledge of the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016, and appropriate qualifications and experience relevant to the CAP. You should also have a strong understanding of the City of Playford area and its community.

Benefits:

As an Independent Member, you will receive a meeting sitting fee determined by the City of Playford. Meetings are held at the Civic Centre on the third Thursday of every month at 6:00pm.
