Job Opportunity: Senior Commercial Advisor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert commercial advice to ensure contract deliverables are met.
  • Lead contract administration tasks to guarantee adherence to program schedules and quality reporting.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive commercial outcomes.
  • Communicate program risks, commercial obligations, and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Implement lessons learned from completed projects to solidify ASC as a learning organization.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in law, commerce, or business management, or equivalent experience in a complex commercial setting.
  • A minimum of 8 years of post-graduate experience in a commercial, legal, or business advisory role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing and developing complex contracts, including resolving difficult issues to achieve positive commercial outcomes.
  • Experience in drafting agreements and managing commercial risk.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities with limited direction, and build strong business relationships.
