We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Midwife to join our dynamic Maternity Services team at the Kilmore District Hospital campus. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing comprehensive and patient-centered care throughout the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal phases.

About the Role

This is an ongoing part-time position, offering flexibility in the workplace and extra leave options and support. As a Registered Midwife with Northern Health, you will be working collaboratively in a team environment, utilizing your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent qualification
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Demonstrated experience as a Registered Midwife, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
  • Compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of current maternity care practices and industry trends
