Business Operations Specialist

This role involves partnering with the National Operations Loss Team to provide actionable insights and business performance reporting for Australian supermarkets as it relates to stock loss.
- Deliver Performance Insights: Provide analysis and commentary on departmental and category performance, including underlying loss, supporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
- Drive Performance Improvement: Offer decision support and lead key forecasting and planning processes to enhance financial and operational outcomes.
- Optimize End-to-End Performance: Collaborate with stakeholders to improve overall performance and decision-making.
- Champion Continuous Improvement: Identify, implement, and lead process enhancements within the finance team and across the business, ensuring data integrity.
- Foster Team Collaboration: Actively engage in team development, sharing improvements, and maintaining robust financial processes and controls.
- CPA / CA qualified experience or equivalent preferred, with multinational FMCG or retail experience beneficial.
- Able to communicate complex financial information simply, including presentation and storyboarding skills.
- Sound organisational and time management skills, including ability to navigate uncertainty and conflicting demands.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with sound judgement and decision making abilities.
- Ability to work flexibly and with agility.
