About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists to lead operational strategy and performance across our organization. This pivotal role supports the Board in managing finance, risk, and facilities, ensuring the Practice operates efficiently, ethically, and in line with all statutory and compliance obligations.

This broad and strategic role includes project-based work and other responsibilities that support the evolving needs of the business. The successful candidate will contribute to the ongoing development of our strategic, financial, and operational functions.

  • Provide leadership to administrative staff and support strategic direction with the Board
  • Oversee HR, payroll, performance reviews, staff development, and OH&S
  • Support financial reporting, manage KPIs, oversee creditors/debtors and ASIC compliance, and meeting documentation
  • Ensure smooth daily operations and vendor relationships (e.g. IT, payroll, legal, property)
  • Oversee use and training for practice management software and maintain IT systems/data
  • Collaborate with directors on business areas like finance, property, IT, recruitment, and rostering
  • Develop and implement internal policies and procedures

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in similar business/practice operations management roles, preferably within the healthcare industry. They should possess strong financial management and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. A CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification is desirable.
