Job Summary

This leadership role will drive animal welfare and research support by building collaborations between teams.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality veterinary care, scientific services and training programs that foster a motivated and skilled workforce.
  • Provide expert technical guidance to enhance animal welfare and service quality through innovation and data-driven insights.
  • Strengthen partnerships between teams to deliver impactful biomedical research outcomes.
  • Lead veterinary and scientific services to improve animal welfare and research results through collaboration and technical excellence.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and research standards.
Key Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and expertise.
  • Registration as a Veterinary Surgeon in Victoria is essential.
  • Deep knowledge of research animal management, animal welfare and regulatory compliance.
