Lead a dynamic program of veterinary care, research animal skills training and scientific services at a leading research institution. At the centre of a skilled and committed veterinary team, this position drives excellence in animal welfare and research support.

• Shape the veterinary care, scientific services and training programs, creating a workforce that is highly skilled, motivated and committed to best practice.
• Provide expert technical advice with innovation, adopting new technologies and data-driven insights to elevate animal welfare and service quality.
• Strengthen capability and collaboration between the veterinary team, researchers and external partners to deliver impactful biomedical research.
• Lead veterinary and scientific services to directly influence animal welfare and research outcomes through technical excellence and collaboration.
• Oversee operations to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and research standards.

• Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and expertise.
• Registration or eligibility for registration as a Veterinary Surgeon is essential.
• Deep knowledge of research animal management, animal welfare and regulatory compliance.
