An opportunity exists for a Business Development Executive to join their dynamic team. This role offers a unique chance to help re-establish a strong, respected Australian-owned logistics brand in the Sydney market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering exceptional customer service by responding to enquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Conducting outbound calls and timely follow-ups to drive engagement and strengthen relationships.
  • Attending regular face-to-face meetings to build trust, nurture long-term partnerships, and uncover new business opportunities.
  • Reconnecting with existing clients and introducing company services to new prospects.
  • Assisting with preparing tailored quotes and pricing proposals that reflect customer needs and market conditions.
  • Keeping CRM records accurate and up to date.
  • Reporting on sales activities weekly, providing insights to support informed decision-making.
  • Tracking industry trends, competitor movements, and freight pricing to shape winning sales strategies.
  • Representing the company at industry events and networking opportunities to grow professional networks and raise brand visibility.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in freight forwarding, ideally from an operations or customer service background.

  • Effective communication with a professional and engaging presentation style.
  • A strong relationship builder with a genuine passion for the logistics and freight industry.
