Sales Director Freight Forwarding

As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the logistics industry. They will be required to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver results-driven solutions that meet customer needs.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and develop tailored sales strategies
- Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers through effective communication and relationship-building skills
- Sell freight forwarding transportation, contract logistics, and multimodal solutions that cater to the specific needs of each customer
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives
- Develop and implement plans to expand existing customer base and increase revenue streams
- Tertiary qualifications with minimum 5 years' experience in sales/business development within the logistics industry
- Demonstrated expertise in the field of logistics and freight forwarding
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal abilities
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to drive business growth
- Results-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
