About the role

Our organization is seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Field Organiser.

The primary function of this role is to develop and implement effective campaigns and strategies to assist members in achieving fairness at work, job security, and the best possible pay and decent conditions.

This position is focused on meeting key objectives including helping members achieve positive change in their workplaces, recruiting members, developing members, delegates and workplace leaders.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for social justice and community campaigning, as well as experience with progressive organizations or social justice causes.

A strong ability to inspire, engage, develop and lead people to take action through positive conversations is also essential.

In addition, the successful applicant will have a commitment to union values and principles, high level verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to plan and organize work and achieve outcomes.

We are looking for a motivated individual who can work semi-autonomously, demonstrate initiative, drive and resilience in a changing environment.
